When Coach O left it seemed like a pretty nasty breakup between him and USC. Multiple reports stated that he was enraged he didn't get the job and resigned immediately. After letting things sink in would Coach O consider coming back?
Sarkisian was going to bring in his defensive line coach from Washington, Tosh Lupoi, but after being investigated by the NCAA for paying for private tutors for some players it is unlikely USC will want to deal with him. That leaves a vacancy for the defensive line coach position and who else would be better? With national signing day approaching USC needs to really hone in on their top targets like Damien Mama, Adoree' Jackson, and JuJu Smith. Sarkisian has already shown what he can do on the recruiting trail in the little time he has been here. With the expert recruiter in Oregeron back at USC this would be a great recruiting staff.
Probably one of the biggest reasons USC should try to get Oregeron back is for the players. The kids loved playing for him and it was no secret. USC has a lot of momentum riding into next year but if they can also get Oregeron back think of the possibilities.
